We have recently asked a few of our instructors to share a few of the remarkable moments that they have been apart of over the last few months, and we want to share them with you!
My most memorable Pinnacle moment… can I choose a couple?
I remember the first time I watched Eric run a Diversity Circle. I was amazed at how well he managed to direct the energy of the students and how honest they were being with themselves and each other. It was an incredible thing to see and participate in for the first time and it was a great way to help the kids find similarities that they hadn’t thought of before.
I will always remember Raft Building! It is so great to see the students problem solve and work together without being given a plan or a set of instructions. Their teachers often remarked on how wonderful it was to see unexpected leaders popping up to take charge when they usually sat in the background disengaged.
Marie is part of our instructor / facilitator team at Loon Lake. Marie’s passion to teach clearly comes out, especially at the archery range!
