Human Diversity Symposium
Pinnacle’s involvement with the UBC youth leadership group led to an amazing event this past weekend. Youth leaders gathered for an inspiring grass roots symposium on the theme of Human Diversity. The youth created a welcoming space of dialogue and discussed how combining positive attitudes, with awareness and authenticity opens the doors to leading an awesome life.
Highlights of the Human Diversity Symposium included a multi-cultural potluck, and a meaningful African singing and dancing workshop led by the marvelous Jacky Essombe. The youth stepped outside of their comfort zones and were motivated to continue their personal journeys on the road to being agents of change in their community.
